Food Tales: Feedex
During lunchtime in the Central Business District, long lines form at the best stalls of every food hawker centre. With most of us having only an hour’s lunch break, much of the precious time is spent queueing instead of taking our time to enjoy our meal.
Enter local startup, Feedex, a lunch collection service like never seen before in Singapore. What Feedex does is eliminate the queue time by allowing us to order the lunch we want from their menu, which changes daily. Log in to site from your computer or mobile device and order your main and a dessert, then collect your food during lunch at their conveniently located collection outlet at Telok Ayer Street.
Our team at THE FIFTH COLLECTION used Feedex quite a few times and the unique brown-bag packaging and quick collection time really saved us a lot of time.
What keeps us going back is the constantly changing menu. From chicken rice to the famous Nasi Lemak from Adam Road, to some more exotic flavours like Thai Green Curry and Basil Chicken, you'll be spoilt for choice. To make it a complete meal, you can also make your selection of desserts from a fruit cup, yoghurt or soy bean pudding.
