Out & About: Baby, You're A Firework!
It's already August and National Day is just around the corner. This also means that the season of sparkling firework displays over the Singapore River is fast approaching.
This year marks the last year that the National Day Parade will be celebrated at the Marina Bay Floating Platform. The annual extravaganza will return to the National Stadium next year when the newly renovated Singapore National Stadium (also known as the Singapore Sports Hub) opens for the nation's 50th birthday.
No chance to watch the parade live this year? Fret not. THE FIFTH COLLECTION has rounded up the best places to view the fireworks display during the National Day Parade next Saturday.
1) ONE FULLERTON
It will surely be crowded but if you come early enough, you can definitely see the fireworks lighting up the night sky and sparkling beautifully above the city skyline.
2) Ku De Ta at Marina Bay Sands
What better way to enjoy the display then with a fabulous drink in hand and partying to great music? Be sure to make early reservations and go early to reserve your spot by the side of the outdoor bar.
3) The Lawn @ Marina Bay
This is recommended if you are bringing your kids along with you! Have a picnic with the family and watch the display while being with your loved ones.
4) Esplanade Waterfront Promenade and Merlion Park
The unobstructed view will allow you to get some of the best photos of the night!
