Letter from the Editor: Bargain Hunting
Who doesn't like a bargain?
During the Great Singapore Sale, I know that I will be hunting down some great bargains at my favourite stores. Which is why we decided that the focus of page five this week would be all about helping you make the best of the sales. From what to wear to which bag to carry and what to look for during the sales, we've got you covered.
We also decided that we were going to participate in GSS - in our very own special way, of course. So, make sure you follow us on Facebook and Instagram as well as signup for an account with us to be one of the first few to know about our flash sales.
The game is simple: 5 items at 50% discount for 50 minutes.
As for my tip when it comes to bargain hunting, they are pretty simple:
1. Never buy something that you would not have purchased if it was not on sale.
2. Sales are the best time to get those pieces which will be the foundation of your wardrobe… say goodbye to buyer's remorse.
My last purchase was this Celine clutch. I already have one but always wanted another one in a more subtle colour. So when this went on sale, I simply could not resist.
Best of all? Got it at 70 per cent off.
