Since THE FIFTH COLLECTION is turning one this month (and our inventory is ever growing fabulously, thanks to our dear Collectors), the team decides to pick our favourite things. Check them out below!

Angie, The Curator:

My favourite item on THE FIFTH COLLECTION must be the Elsa Schiaparelli brooch because to me she represents a very important era in fashion and each of her pieces always tell a story. The workmanship of this brooch is out of this world, although it is fairly large it is also lightweight for it's size with a very intricate and thoughtful crystal placement.

Dinnie, The Operative:

My favourite item currently in our collection is theLouis Vuitton Riviera. It was love at first right for me, the structured lines and the Epi leather in my favourite shade of red. Not only is it effortlessly bold, it is also immensely practical, with more than enough space for everything you need for a day out (iPad, two iPhones, portable chargers, makeup kit and the latest issue of Kinfolk).

This coming September would mark the second year I’ve been with THE FIFTH COLLECTION. It is truly amazing to see how far we’ve come since the earlier days. It is a rare privilege to work with so many incredibly supportive people whom with I can be seriously productive and ridiculously silly. A huge thank-you to the founders Nejla & Michael (CEO & COO respectively) for leading the team forward and I can’t wait to see where we will be heading next.

Valerie, The Photographer:

My current favourite would be the Givenchy Antigona bag. I’m not one for loud colours or designs, so the Antigona seems perfect for me. It’s structural frame means I wouldn’t have to be overly careful in order to retain it’s shape and the subtle black on black embossed pattern gives it an extra edge without going over the top. Most importantly, it’s so roomy and I reckon this would be my go-to bag for everything.

People always say that the bosses and colleagues make all the difference in the workplace, and I agree. Though I’ve only joined for less than half a year now, being a part of THE FIFTH COLLECTION is such a blessing. A day in the office means lots of laughs and serious conversations about food. It’s brilliant, people who love food are always great. It may be strange to say that I love coming to work, but I do :)

Rohai, The Scribe:

I'm really "lusting" over the Le Ritual set, which is a collaboration piece between French shoe label Christian Louboutin and bubbly brand Piper-Heidsieck. It comes with a specially-crafted six-inch crystal stiletto Champagne flute with Louboutin's signature red sole and the famous red label Piper-Heidsieck. Celebrating anything by popping a bottle of bubbly has never looked so chic!

Just like THE FIFTH COLLECTION, it has been one year since I joined this amazing company and it is only getting better.
