STRAWBERRY & YOGHURT FACE MASK
A home made mask that promises to make us some good.

Strawberries are not only delicious, they’re also proven beauty ingredient. Full of elements often found in commercial beauty products such as vitamin C, salicylic acid, ellagic acid, antioxidants and exfoliants, strawberries remove impurities and soften the skin, and can assist with common skin problems such as acne, ageing and pigmentation while improving skin elasticity and protecting against pollution and haze!
Yogurt is also full of vitamins and minerals that nourish and help revitalise skin. Like strawberries, yoghurt can also assist with acne prone skin thanks to its anti-bacterial and anti-microbial properties, as well as alpha hydroxyl acids that kill acne causing bacteria. Combined with honey's fantastic moisturising properties and oatmeal's exfoliating power, this mask will cleanse, correct, heal, moisturise and leave your skin looking fresh and smooth. Just make sure you store this one in the fridge if you'r not going to use it right away!.
What You Need:
3-4 strawberries
2 x tablespoon of honey
1 x teaspoon of yoghurt
Oatmeal – only as needed
1-2 drops of olive oil
How To Do It:
Put the (slightly mashed) strawberries in a blender with the honey, yoghurt and olive oil. Blend for a few seconds and then add oatmeal until the mixture turns into a paste. If it gets too thick, just add more strawberries
With the palm of your hand rub the mix in circular motions, before leaving it to sit for 20-30 minutes. This way it exfoliates the skin and the nutrients can soak into a clean skin.
When done simply wash off the mask with luke warm water.
This should leave you with a soft and reenergised skin. I recommend doing this mask 1-2 a week.
