Each year, as much as I tell myself that I will be more organised around the festive holidays, I always - and I mean always - end up doing it all at the very last minute.

As a result, priorities always goes to making sure that there is something under the tree, something delicious to eat and so, as you may have guessed, the absolute last thing my list is dressing up the Christmas table. I then end up rushing it. You see, I want my daughter to remember the magic that the festive season brings.

So, here are some inspirations that I have gathered from Pinterest that I will be implementing in my household this year. The base of the table will be kept to the minimum with a white table cloth and white napkins. Then, some greens that are super easy to find even at the supermarkets, and with lots of tea candles.

I will mainly be using eucalyptus, as we live in the tropic. It will also make the house smell super good and my guests can also take a stalk or two back home with them if they wanted to.

This idea looks simple as it not only helps secure the candles but keeps up with the green and white theme I am going for and will take few seconds to execute.

I always love the idea of having a big centrepiece. However, I always find them intimidating to recreate. But, this looks rather simple. I am thinking of doing this for my coffee table as, unfortunately, my dining room table is not wide enough to take such a piece and I will be using eucalyptus plant.

I could not resist pinning this look as I do have some succulents at home. I thought it will be easy to just add some stones to cover the pots they are in. Best of all, a centrepiece like that can be kept all year long.
