Shop Now: Mommy Milestones

Let's face it: Being a mommy is never the easiest job in the world. Sometimes, we feel like throwing in the towel. But, still, we continue to hang on. We live for the moments that bring smiles to our faces and soldier on through the moments that make us want to run away and hide (gorgeous Chanel boutique at Marina Bay Sands).

And since Mother's Day is just right around the corner, we thought we'd put together a small list of milestones achievements worth celebrating (with a wee bit of online shopping).

1. Fitting into your pre-pregnancy jeans

Come on, that's definitely an achievement right? And, for some, fitting into your sexy and well-cut pair of pre-pregnancy jeans takes a whole lot of discipline and gruelling exercise routine. So, now that you've got your figure, why don't you shop for amazing heels to highlight that derriere?

2. Surviving your year of a tantrum-throwing two-year-old toddlers

Essentially, tantrum-throwing behaviour is not reserved for two-year-olds. As they grow older, the tantrums get more intense. Many call these stages to be the "Terrible Twos", "Three-nagers" and "Fantastic Four". But we say kids will be kids and they will throw tantrums until they learn how to properly express their emotions. Sometimes, it's hard to control our emotions - even as an adult. Thus, don't worry too much mommy. This, too, shall pass (after a few years).

And just for that, you need to reward yourselves. Get you these tote bags that are roomy enough to carry all the necessary "emergency" supplies when you're out and about with your little ones. No one says you can't still look chic and trendy with a tantrum-throwing child.

3. In Their Own Beds

Congratulations, mommy! Your child has moved on from co-sleeping with your husband and you (and taking up the biggest space on the bed) and gone on to spend the night in his or her own bed and sleep through the night. While it is rather sad to finally know that your child is now big enough to spend the night in his or her own room, it also means that you get to have some "me-time" or schedule some date nights -- just you and your love.

We've highlighted some date-night pieces you need to have on standby.

Of course, this is by no means an exhaustive list of milestones and we're building up on this. What other milestones do you think should be celebrated? Let us know in the comments section below.
